Software & Services Employees Support the March of Dimes

Shreveport, LA - January 26, 2006 – Software & Services has been awarded the March of Dimes “Order of the Battered Boot for Outstanding Support.” Software & Services employees have teamed up with the March of Dimes in its mission to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects and infant mortality.

Software & Services is a family-oriented organization and the March of Dimes is a program our employees truly support not only with their pocketbooks, but more importantly with their time. As S&S grows it becomes even more important that we, as a company, focus our resources on causes that are important to our employees and that benefit the communities we serve. For the past 14 years, the March of Dimes has been central to those goals.

The major fund raising event for MOD is the annual WalkAmerica. Last year the S&S team presented $4,306 to the local chapter. Software & Services contributed another $1,500 as a Corporate Silver Sponsor. Software & Services has been a corporate sponsor for the Walk for the past 13 years.

In 2005 we won the “Most Money per Capita – Small Company” award (for the fourth time), along with the “Order of the Battered Boot for Outstanding Support,” bringing the 14 year total including S&S Silver Sponsorships to $73,494.59!
