Washington Parish Assessor Launches AIS™

Franklinton , LA - July 26, 2004 - In another move toward newest available technology, this week the Washington Parish Assessor’s office launched AIS™ (Assessor Information System). AIS™ will allow the Assessor’s office to more effectively assess property value in less time. The office expects the new software to increase the staff’s productivity and the accuracy of their assessments.

The staff of the Assessor’s office has been thoroughly trained in the operation of this software by Software & Services, the developer of AIS™. The new software, which runs in Microsoft ® Windows, is designed to be intuitive to the average computer user. AIS™ is designed to be mouse and keyboard friendly.

“With this new software in place, we are in a position to get more work done for Washington Parish”, says Randy Seal, Washington Parish Tax Assessor. Seal continues, “The edge that AIS™ gives us over our previous software is invaluable to us.”

Software & Services, the developer of AIS™ and local government software provider for over 25 years, is excited about this product launch. “It is always a pleasure to work one-on-one with our clients and see them succeed;” says Allen Richard “They have worked hard to bring this 21 st century technology into Washington Parish.” Ron Petitt, Lead Support Analyst and trainer at Software & Services, says “The Washington Assessor’s office personnel was eager to learn the new system. They really caught on fast.”

The upcoming taxroll season is expected to go more smoothly because of AIS™ and the highly skilled staff at the Assessor’s office.
